Moshe received proof of a spiritual afterlife in 1999
by moshe ini have posted this experience of mine before- it's time to resurrect it again.. in 1999 i was in bed asleep and i had a dream- my father and i were shoping at a clothing store called fazios, that i hadn't been inside since i was a boy (closed for many years).
we were looking at some denim overhalls and in walks my mother and brother ( she died in 1991 and my brother had died five months previously).
they told my dad, it's time to go.

26% drop in auxiliary pioneers in "special month" between 2011 and 2012
by sir82 ini don't recall seeing this posted on this board before, my apologies if the topic is duplicated..... in april 2011 and march 2012, the gb made a "loving provision" to allow jws to sign up for the auxiliary pioneer work with only a 30 hour requirement instead of the usual 50 hours.. in 2011, in the usa, about 500,000 signed up to be auxiliary pioneers.. in 2012, per the august 2012 km, only about 370,000 signed up.. that's a 26% drop in just 1 year!.
granted, in many parts of the us, the march weather is far worse than april's.
but on the other hand, there were 5 saturdays in march 2012 - you could get your "time in" with 5 long saturdays and nothing else.. .

Problem is they will have to come up with new light to explain why they are being 'taken out' before Babylon the Great. Nations are to turn on JW's last and then the trib. not other way around. Look at the trouble Rutherford caused for them with Hitler. Somehow I can see them trying this and putting some kind of spin on it.

Oops, double post. oh well feel like I truly belong now.
EXWHYZEE: LMAO, trust me, we all looked like dorks & dorkettes standing on the corner. Thank God it was only with mags and not those huge 'sandwich' boards like earlier times.
re: your mom. priceless. She must have nearly had a bird when she realized the only thing between her and a hall full of eyes was her coat.
Similar experience I had at hall. Had a rather full dress, was pregnant at the time. Came out of washroom at the hall with the back of my dress tucked into my pantyhose. I never noticed and returned to my seat about half-way down the middle aisle. Dear god, they should have just let us wear the damn pants.

Moshe, that poor sister, how humiliating
Aussie Oz, been there, done that, just not in service
Eva Luna, The dress was trying to get away so it wouldn't have to ever sit through another assembly.
Kool Jo, these days how many people would let a total stranger use their washroom. You must have had the look of total desperation on your face.
Da Cheech. OMG, a double whammy
Broken Promises, it must have been all that fine 'spiritual' food
Nugget, yup, what else can you do, absolutely nothing
Nambo, totally know how that is.

Busy street, lots of houses. Felt something clinging to back of my leg. Elastic waistband of my slip died and my slip was hanging 6 inches below my dress. Can't pull it up...crap what to do. Did the only thing I could, I whipped it off and shoved it into my service bag and kept going.
Anyone else have an embarrassing service tale to share?

Maybe it costs the Borg too much to hook up those ATM's at Big DC's in non-JW venues. Assembly Hall=permanent money siphoning location. Insert wallet...er....debit/credit card here.
